For you, we have “blended” healthy ice cream made of banana, almond milk, whey protein and dark chocolate, without added sugar! We recommend that you always have a banana cut into slices and frozen in the freezer, that way you always have a basic food ready for preparing this and similar ice creams, ice cream smoothies and other refreshing and healthy desserts.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large or 4 smaller bananas, sliced ​​and frozen for at least 24 hours
  • About 150 ml of almond milk
  • 1/2 scoop of vanilla whey protein 
  • 40 g dark chocolate with a high cocoa content without sugar

Preparation:

  1. So, at least a day before, cut the bananas into slices and put them in a larger freezer bag and freeze (about 24 hours).
  2. In a kitchen blender, blend frozen bananas, almond milk and whey until a thick creamy mixture. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk, but it shouldn’t be too much.
  3. Chop the dark chocolate into small cubes and mix it into the mixture by hand.
  4. Transfer everything to a square plastic container, cover and freeze for at least 3 hours – taking out the ice cream every half hour and mixing it briefly but well with a fork or mixer in order to break the ice crystals that will form in the ice cream during freezing. It is best consumed the same day you prepare it.
  5. Before serving, take it out of the freezer for a short time, scoop out the balls with an ice cream scoop and, if desired, sprinkle with a little more dark chocolate and raspberries.
