Quick and Easy Air Fryer Salmon bites recipe

This recipe is perfect for a flavorful and healthy weeknight meal in just 17 minutes! Tender salmon cubes and crisp broccoli florets are seasoned to perfection and cooked to perfection in your air fryer.

Ingredients:

  • Salmon:
    • 325g skinless wild salmon fillets, cut into 2.5cm cubes
    • ½ tsp sweet paprika
    • ½ tsp garlic granules
    • ½ tsp onion granules
    • Optional: ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (for a spicy kick)
    • ¼ tsp ground ginger
    • Olive oil spray
  • Broccoli:
    • 250g broccoli florets
    • 1½ tsp toasted sesame oil
    • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Sauce:
    • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce

To Serve:

  • 1 spring onion, sliced
  • Squeeze of fresh lime juice, plus lime wedges for garnish
  • Pinch of sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, combine the salmon cubes with paprika, garlic granules, onion granules, cayenne pepper (if using), ginger, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Spray with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.

  2. Prepare the Broccoli: In another bowl, toss the broccoli florets with sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce.

  3. Preheat and Arrange: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 2 minutes. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and lightly spray with oil. Arrange the salmon cubes in one half of the basket and the broccoli florets in the other half. Spray everything with a light coating of olive oil.

  4. Air Fry: Cook for 5 minutes, then carefully flip the salmon and broccoli florets for even cooking.

  5. Glaze and Finish: Drizzle the sweet chili sauce over the salmon and toss to coat it well. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the broccoli is tender-crisp.

  6. Serve and Enjoy! Transfer the salmon and broccoli to a serving plate. Top with sliced spring onion, a squeeze of fresh lime juice, and sesame seeds (if using). Serve with lime wedges on the side for extra flavor.
